Refund policy
We are only able to accept returns and exchanges for the following reasons:
- item(s) arrived damaged
- item(s) never arrived
- wrong item(s) arrived
In order to return any items, please send an email with your order number to info@skippingstonebooks.com within 3 business days of receipt of your order. All items are exchangeable or refundable for store credit. If the exchange item value is less than the return item value, there will be no refund for the difference. If the exchange item value is higher than the return item value, you (the customer) will need to pay the difference. Please note that we do not cover the shipping cost to return or exchange an item.
If you want to exchange/return an item due to damage, please send us pictures of the damage in your email. We will open an inquiry with our shipping provider and may be able to provide you with a free shipping label that you can use to return the item to us. If the package arrived damaged/torn open, please take pictures of the outside of the packaging before opening the package.
If your order never arrived, we can open an inquiry with our shipping provider, but we are unable to issue an exchange or refund if the shipping provider shows that they did deliver the package to the correct address. If the shipping provider accepts responsibility for the missing package, we can either resend the order or issue you a refund in store credit.
If you received the wrong item(s) or if an item is missing from your order, we will send you the correct item(s) as soon as we have verified the mistake. We will also send you a free shipping label to return the wrong item(s) (if applicable).
